U.S. service members participating in Appalachian Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) 2022 provide no-cost medical care at Wise, Va., from Aug. 15-25 2022. IRT is a Department of Defense (DoD) military training opportunity, exclusive to the United States and its territories, that delivers joint training opportunities to increase deployment readiness. Simultaneously, IRT provides key services (health care, construction, transportation, and cybersecurity) with lasting benefits for our American communities.
U.S. Airmen from the 514th Air Mobility Wing and the 421st Combat Training Squadron, both at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, the 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania, and Office of the Surgeon General, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Virginia, participated in a test of concept TCCC course at JB MDL, N.J., October 30-31, 2021.
