A Red Wolf launched effect platform clears the rail of a Kontio pneumatic launcher at Orote Airfield on Naval Station Guam, June 23, 2026, as part of Exercise Valiant Shield 2026. Operating within the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability experimentation environment, the 3d Multi-Domain Effects Battalion, 3d Multi-Domain Task Force, evaluated the autonomous launch sequence to test developing technologies and provide critical field feedback to inform the future acquisition process.
