A Coriolis unmanned aircraft system launches from a ground platform during a multi-day Special User Demonstration at Orote Airfield on Naval Station Guam, June 22, 2026. The flight profile allowed the 3d Multi-Domain Effects Battalion, 3d Multi-Domain Task Force, to test new platforms under the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability to expand the joint force's capacity to plan, communicate, and conduct complex multi-domain operations.
This launch was conducted in support of Valiant Shield 2026. Exercises like Valiant Shield allow Pacific Command Joint Forces the opportunity to integrate forces from all branches of service and with our allies to conduct precise, lethal, and overwhelming multi-axis, multi-domain effects that demonstrate the strength and versatility of the joint force and our commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
