    YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 15, 2026) – A Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) safety representative briefs young cyclists during a bicycle safety course at the Back-to-School Bash. The safety course, run jointly with the Yokosuka City Police, educated local youth on proper helmet fitting, hand signals and road safety protocols before the start of the new school year. CFAY provides, maintains and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
