    YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 15, 2026) – Capt. Jonathan Hopkins, commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), panel judges and representatives from the Yokosuka Navy Exchange and CFAY Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) evaluate performances during a lip-sync battle at the Back-to-School Bash. Co-hosted by CFAY MWR and the Navy Exchange, the annual event brought base leadership, staff and community members together to celebrate the upcoming school year with youth activities and live entertainment. CFAY provides, maintains and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
