The image shows a top-down view of a swirling vortex or whirlpool in a liquid-filled container. The liquid appears to be a pale blue-green color, with a distinct spiral pattern converging toward a dark central drain point. The surrounding container appears to be a basin or tub with a brownish rim visible on the right edge.

U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility Japan RMC (SRF-JRMC)

A freeze seal forms inside an eight-inch water pipe at Fleet Activities Yokosuka on July 28. SRF-JRMC is taking another step forward in increasing its organic ship repair capability by introducing the freeze seal technique into its surface ship maintenance. For over 75 years, SRF-JRMC has been the linchpin of U.S. naval operations in the Pacific region by providing intermediate and depot-level repair for the ships of the U.S. 7th Fleet.
