A group of workers in hard hats and safety gear are gathered around a metal worktable in what appears to be an industrial or technical facility. Three workers wearing blue hard hats are reviewing documents and discussing work, while two others wearing white hard hats stand nearby. The setting includes a panel wall with numbered ports or connectors and various tools and equipment on the table.

Master Labor Agreement employees, from U.S. Naval Ship Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center’s (SRF-JRMC) Pipefitting Shop (X56), monitor the controls for a freeze seal at Fleet Activities Yokosuka on July 28. SRF-JRMC is taking another step forward in increasing its organic ship repair capability by introducing the freeze seal technique into its surface ship maintenance. For over 75 years, SRF-JRMC has been the linchpin of U.S. naval operations in the Pacific region by providing intermediate and depot-level repair for the ships of the U.S. 7th Fleet.
