U.S. Marine Reconnaissance personnel train alongside Dominican Republic military partners during a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) exercise aboard the Esteban Huertas vessel as part of PANAMAX 2026 at Panama City, Aug. 12, 2026. The training focused on coordinated response to simulated waterborne threats, strengthening the ability of partner forces to protect maritime assets and maintain vessel security during a maritime security operation.
