Three U.S. Coast Guard Transportable Port Security Boats (TPSBs) conduct coordinated maneuvers alongside the Esteban Huertas vessel during a joint visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) exercise as part of PANAMAX 2026 at Panama City, Aug. 12, 2026. The synchronized maneuvering demonstrated maritime coordination among participating forces while strengthening interoperability, operational readiness and partner capabilities in support of regional maritime security. PANAMAX 2026 scenarios help the defense and public security forces of participating nations improve interoperability, hone their skills during scenarios involving coalition and all-domain operations, forge strong cooperative partnerships, and demonstrate their collective capacity to respond to and deter threats to the region and its critical waterways.
