Soldiers assigned to the 3678th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion Headquarters and Headquarters, and and the 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, enter the gas chamber during chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense training at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, Salinas, Puerto Rico, July 23, 2026. The training validated Soldiers’ ability to properly use protective masks and equipment while preparing them to operate in environments affected by chemical threats. The exercise reinforced individual readiness, confidence, and the skills required to survive and continue mission operations in support of Army requirements.
