Soldiers assigned to the 3678th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion Headquarters and Headquarters, and the 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, line up in a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense training during Annual Training at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, Salinas, Puerto Rico, July 23, 2026. The gas chamber exercise familiarized Soldiers with the effects of chemical agents, reinforced proper wear and use of protective masks and validated their ability to operate in a contaminated environment. The training enhanced individual readiness and ensured Soldiers maintain the skills required to survive and operate in support of mission requirements.
