Master Sgt. Vanessa Santiago, assigned to the 3678th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion Headquarters and Headquarters, 191st Regional Support Group, fits a protective mask during chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defense training at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, Salinas, Puerto Rico, July 23, 2026. The training ensured Soldiers properly don and adjust their protective equipment while reinforcing procedures required to operate effectively in a contaminated environment. The exercise enhanced individual readiness and strengthened the skills necessary to respond to CBRN threats in support of mission requirements.
