1st Lt. Naisha Laboy, assigned to the 65th Infantry Regiment, fits a protective mask during chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defense training at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center, Salinas, Puerto Rico, July 23, 2026. The training ensured Soldiers properly don and adjust their protective equipment while reinforcing procedures required to operate effectively in a contaminated environment. The exercise enhanced individual readiness and strengthened the skills necessary to respond to CBRN threats in support of mission requirements.
