YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 11, 2026) - Military officials and their families attend the Perry landing memorial ceremony in Perry Park,. The ceremony commemorated the 173rd anniversary of Commodore Matthew C. Perry’s landing in Kurihama, bringing together the local community and forward-deployed personnel to honor the historic milestone. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
