U.S. Air Force Capt. Douglas Trojanowski presents a POW-MIA flag which hung in the 700th Airlift Squadron headquarters for the past three years to the family of U.S. Army Air Forces Tech. Sgt. Charles C. Palmer, Jr. at Sarasota National Cemetery, June 8, 2026. Palmer served in the 700th Bombardment Squadron, whose lineage is carried on today by the Air Force Reserve’s 700th Airlift Squadron.
