Tennessee Army National Guard Sgt. ristan Murdock assigned to 3rd Battalion, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR), pilots an RQ-28A Short Range Reconnaissance (SRR) unmanned aircraft system during operator training at Volunteer Training Site-Tullahoma, June 16, 2026. Following preflight checks and system startup procedures, Soldiers practiced aircraft control, hover operations and maneuvering techniques while gaining hands-on experience operating the drone platform.
