A Soldier assigned to 3rd Battalion, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR), Tennessee Army National Guard, operates the controller for an RQ-28A Short Range Reconnaissance (SRR) unmanned aircraft system during operator training at Volunteer Training Site-Tullahoma, June 16, 2026. Soldiers received hands-on instruction on aircraft controls, mission planning, digital map integration and flight operations while learning to employ the reconnaissance drone in a tactical environment.
