Reouven Berdugo, Israel Defense Forces Genomic Laboratory for Casualty Identification director, pipettes a reagent needed for a purification step during the Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) library preparation procedure in the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Nov. 20, 2025. Berdugo and his colleague were training at AFDIL on a new SNPs process which is used to identify distant relatives of individuals.
