Center for Seabees Facilities and Engineering Executive Officer, Commander Amy Honek, CEC, recognizes Basic Class 278 distinguished graduate Lieutenant Junior Grade Kira Keyes, CEC, USN as she salutes Rear Admiral Jeffrey J. Kilian, and joins Captain Jeffrey Deviney, CEC, Commander, Center for Seabees Facilities and Engineering on stage to receive the congratulatory letter and Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School coin.
The WWII Fighting Seabee landed home to Moreell Hall in time to add colorful imagery and historic significance to the CECOS 80th Anniversary and Graduation event. The statue is located stage right and in the background, making its distinguished presence as a learning tool clearly visible.
