Randall Vaughn, 8th Operations Squadron radar approach control system assistant chief controller, presents his innovative idea at a Wolfwerx event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Dec. 28, 2023. Vaughn's proposal for wireless air traffic control headsets was supported by the 8th Fighter Wing command and the funding process is underway to bring this technology to the 8th OSS.
