U.S. Army Capt. Kristen J. Hewitt, engineering officer, 3-347th Training Support Battalion, 5th Armored Brigade, leads a tour of Camp McGregor's newest Mayor Cell and Tactical Action Center. Dedicated to the memory of U.S. Army Sgt 1st Class Wavie Shumate June 28, 2021, at McGregor Base Camp, Texas. Hewitt and her team oversaw this half million dollar project from initial plans to final construction. The renovated TAC is part of a $150 million infrastructure improvement plan to transform Ft.
