A U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer is photographed underway on open ocean waters under an overcast sky. The vessel is painted in standard naval haze gray and appears to be moving at slow speed or nearly stationary. The ship displays characteristic features of the DDG-51 class, including SPY-1D radar arrays, Mk 41 Vertical Launch System cells, and a 5-inch deck gun forward.
