200909-RX269-A-0020 ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 9, 2020) – The mine countermeasures ship USS Dextrous (MCM 13), explosive ordnance disposal technicians, assigned to Commander Task Force (CTF) 52, and a MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, conduct mine countermeasures training during a bi-lateral exercise in the Arabian Gulf, Sept. 9. CTF 52 and HSC 26 are deployed to the U.S 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
