190821-N-PG340-1030 PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Aug. 21, 2019) Equipment Operator 1st Class Catalina Lobo, from Alexandria, Virginia, assigned to Naval Construction Group 1, gives feedback from a Joint Inspection (JI) for Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5s mount out exercise (MOX) on board Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme, California. The JI is completed six hours prior to loading the aircraft to give time for corrections and examines data sheets for proper weight, hazards, and other information. A MOX demonstrates NMCB-5's ability to deploy a task-tailored air detachment within 48-hours in support of Major Combat Operations response or Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief. The Seabees assigned to NMCB-5 support worldwide combat and contingency campaigns, building advanced bases and performing humanitarian missions.
