(Aug. 20, 2019) Builder Constructionman Nicholas McClellan, from Columbia City, Indiana, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, washes a Medium Tactical Replacement Vehicle MK-31 Tractor to ensure it is clean and ready for shipment as part of a mount out exercise (MOX) on board Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme, California. A MOX demonstrates NMCB-5's ability to deploy a task-tailored air detachment within 48-hours in support of Major Combat Operations response or Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief. The Seabees assigned to NMCB-5 support worldwide combat and contingency campaigns, building advanced bases and performing humanitarian missions.
