    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (July 12, 2019) – A Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) staff member scrubs sediments off of an oyster pod. Cleaning the pods helps with water flow through the pods for the oysters to filter. The importance of maintaining the oyster pods is so the oysters are cleaning at optimal amounts.
