    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (July 12, 2019) – Taylor Austin, Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads Natural Resource Manager, scrubs sediments off of an oyster pod cage. Cleaning the pods helps with water flow through the pods for the oysters to filter. The importance of maintaining the oyster pods is so the oysters are cleaning at optimal amounts.
