Three U.S. Air Force personnel in dress blue uniforms stand at attention beside memorial wreaths during a formal ceremony. The wreaths are adorned with red, white, and blue flowers and bear blue satin ribbons with text referencing 'Pacific Air Force' and 'Men & Women of Pacific Air Force.' The setting appears to be an outdoor memorial site with palm trees in the background, consistent with a Hawaii location.

Airmen assigned to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Honor Guard stand ready to present wreaths Dec. 7, 2011, at Atterbury Circle in recognition of the 70th anniversary of the 1941 Japanese attacks on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Airmen, their families and veterans gathered at the Atterbury Circle flagpole, the site of the same flagpole that stood Dec. 7, 1941. The ceremony was held to honor the survivors of the attacks and remember the 238 Army Air Corps airmen who died defending Hickam Field.
