A formal military memorial ceremony is taking place outdoors at what appears to be a military installation in a tropical location, likely Hawaii. An American flag flies at full staff atop a tall white flagpole, while uniformed personnel stand at attention near a memorial monument with wreaths. A large crowd of attendees, including both military personnel and civilians, is gathered to the right observing the ceremony.

Airmen, their families and veterans gathered at the Atterbury Circle flagpole, the site of the same flagpole that stood Dec. 7, 1941. The ceremony was held to honor the survivors of the attacks and remember the 238 Army Air Corps airmen who died defending Hickam Field.
