OKINAWA, Japan (April 26, 2018) Aviation Ordnancemen 3rd Class John Larue assigned to the "Skinny Dragons" of Patrol Squadron (VP) 4, uses the controller functions of an MHU-83 or Munitions Handling Unit to onload a AGM-84D Harpoon missile to a P-8A Poseidon aircraft during a proficiency exercise on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. VP-4 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation conducting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) missions, as well as providing maritime domain awareness throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
