180110-N-OW019-010 PACIFIC OCEAN (JAN. 10, 2018) Information Systems Technician 3rd Class Austin Pethtel, a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), scores the grouping of rounds on the target with Information Systems Technician Seaman Hunter McCool, a native of Meyersdale, Penn., during a gun qualifying shoot on the ship’s flight deck. Pearl Harbor, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
