171023-N-PM250-431 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 23, 2017) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Monty Rideout, a Sailor aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44), carries personal flotation devices in preparation of distribution. Gunston Hall is underway in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (#BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
