171021-N-PM250-0717 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2017) Gas Turbine Systems Technician 1st Class Claire Bedding, a Sailor assigned to landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 54, attached to Assault Craft Unit 4, peers out the window of LCAC 54 after departing the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44). LCAC 54 is on board Gunston Hall in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (#BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
