Members of the Richland County Sheriff's Department participate in the first “Battle Challenge” at McCrady Training Center in Eastover, S.C., Jan. 28, 2017. The Battle Challenge is a mobile obstacle course requiring participants to perform nine tasks under pressure of time, including a cargo net climb, a knotted rope descent, wall surmount, ammunition resupply, low crawl, gas can carry, marksmanship tasks, and a service member-down rescue.
