ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 26, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Tyler Stange conducts maintenance on the engine of an E/A-18G Growler assigned to the Zappers of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 130 in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Strange serves aboard Ike as an aviation structural mechanic. Ike and its carrier strike group are deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve is a multinational effort to weaken and destroy Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant operations in the Middle East region and around the world.
