Participants in the 41st Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) 10K stow their excess clothing in United Postal Service trucks before moving to the 10K start line, Arlington, Va., Oct. 30, 2016. Also known as "The People's Marathon," the 26.2 mile race, along with the MCM 10K, drew roughly 30,000 participants to promote physical fitness, generate goodwill in the community, and showcase the organizational skills of the Marine Corps.
