YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 02, 2016) Sailors retire the national ensign during evening colors on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The ship completed a scheduled three-month patrol in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region during which it participated in exercises Valiant Shield, Invincible Spirit and Keen Sword. The crew also completed its Unit Level Training Assessment-Sustainment and Maintenance and Material Management Assessment.
