U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Marc Kessler, Fox Company Platoon Commander, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, does a communications check during a live-fire raid exercise, part of Mission Rehearsal Exercise 2016, in southern Jordan, Sept. 12, 2016. The MRX is a collective training event where the MAGTF elements collaborate to refine individual and cooperative capabilities. SPMAGTF - CR - CC is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets, to include embassy reinforcement and tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel.
