Hunter Scott stands watch on the bridge of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) during a fueling at sea (FAS) with the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) during Valiant Shield 2016. Valiant Shield 16 is a biennial, U.S.-only, field training exercise (FTX) with a focus of integration of joint training among U.S. forces.
