Several military personnel in dark navy blue coveralls are working together to handle and coil large thick mooring ropes inside what appears to be a naval vessel. The team of approximately five sailors, including both male and female members, are managing a substantial pile of braided white rope in an interior compartment. The setting features institutional white walls, electrical panels, piping, and a bulletin board typical of a military ship's interior.

160903-N-NF288-112 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 3, 2016) Deck Department Sailors untangle and lay down a mooring line in the forecastle of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The lines are untangled and arranged on the deck in a side-by-side pattern, so they can dry to prevent them from degrading. Ronald Reagan and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
