    FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (Aug. 14, 2016) – Midshipman Candidate Catalina Mitchell from The University of Arizona’s Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps unit takes a breath during the “dead man’s float” water survival portion of her basic swim qualification Aug. 14, 2016, at the Northern Arizona University pool in Flagstaff, Arizona, as part of joint New Student Orientation training. The weeklong NSO training took place Aug. 12-19, with half combined in Flagstaff alongside freshman candidates from the University of New Mexico and Arizona State University NROTC units, and the second half at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
