FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (Aug. 14, 2016) -- Midshipman candidates from three Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps units receive a briefing on required swimming techniques before entering the Northern Arizona University pool to attempt their basic swim qualifications Aug. 14, 2016, in Flagstaff, Arizona, as part of joint New Student Orientation training. The weeklong NSO training took place Aug. 12-19, with half combined in Flagstaff alongside freshman candidates from the University of New Mexico and Arizona State University NROTC units, and the second half at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
