PANAMA CANAL (June 21, 2016) Sailors assigned to Harper's Ferry dock landing assault ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) stand by as the hatch to the first lock of the Panama Canal opens. To commemorate the recent expansion of the Panama Canal, Oak Hill is conducting a port visit in Rodman, Panama. During the visit, the ship is hosting a reception with local officials and diplomats from the Unites States and trade partners. Oak Hill is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
