160624-N-VS214-081 ARABIAN GULF (June 24, 2016) Members of Assault Craft Unit One are promoted to the rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer during a ceremony in the well deck of the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). Harpers Ferry is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
