160621-N-WF272-028 SASEBO, Japan (June 21, 2016) Aerographer’s Mate 1st Class Shawn Mulholland leads a week-long ship’s indoctrination course for the Sailors, who have recently reported to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). During the indoctrination, Sailors met the command triad, familiarized with the ship’s operation and learned more about various programs available through the Navy. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward-deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation.
