160411-N-SQ656-494 DETROIT (April 11, 2016) Media and guests photograph the historic moment Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus (center) and former U.S. Sen. Carl M. Levin celebrated with Levin’s family while wearing their new USS Carl M. Levin ball caps after a ship naming ceremony at the GM Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit on the international riverfront. Mabus announced the Navy's newest Arleigh Burke class destroyer, DDG 120, was named Carl M. Levin in honor of the longest serving senator in Michigan history. The ship will be constructed at Bath Iron Works in Maine and is expected to enter the Navy fleet in 2020. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Kristine Volk/Released)
