Levin applaud Levin during a naming ceremony at the GM Renaissance Center near the international riverfront in downtown Detroit. Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus announed the Navy's newest Arleigh Burke class destroyer, DDG 120, was named Carl M. Levin in honor of the longest serving senator in Michigan history.
