Jerry Van de Vyver salutes during the National Anthem during a naming ceremony at the GM Renaissance Center on the Detroit international riverfront. Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus announced the Navy's newest Arleigh Burke class guided-missle destroyer, DDG 120, was named Carl M. Levin in honor of the longest serving senator in Michigan history. The ship will be constructed at Bath Iron Works in Maine and is expected to enter the Navy fleet in 2020. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.
