    Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve   

    An Iraqi soldier with the 72nd Iraqi Army Brigade watches as reinforcements move forward during a combined arms breach training exercise at Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, Jan. 24, 2016. The primary objective of the exercise was to validate the brigade’s ability to incorporate multiple elements across the battlefield to achieve their mission. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Force personnel to defeat the Daesh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL.)This training is part of the overall Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity mission to increase the military capacity of Iraqi Security Forces fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
