GULF OF ADEN (October 9, 2015) - Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) Fireman Michael Gonzalez, from Long Island, New York, Ensign Aaron Hampton, from St. Augustine, Florida, and Quartermaster 3rd Class Aaron Morgan, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, man the helm and lee helm aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) during an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
